Up mid-morning, and in addition to the usual computer time in the morning I unpacked from our Chicago trip. I also, of all things, wrote a new poem, this one based on one of the Andy Warhol silkscreen paintings we say at the Museum of Contemporary Art. I'm not a huge fan of Warhol's work, but this one obviously spoke to me on some level. So there's that.
Still, despite that burst of activity, today was a very sleepy kind of day. Maybe I had too much excitement while we were in Chicago, but whatever the reason I spent today feeling drained. I took a nap in the late afternoon and early evening, and that helped somewhat, but not much.
queenmomcat and I ended up making spaghetti with meat sauce for dinner, and I spent a desultory evening puttering about online. It looks like we'll be off to bed late again tonight, but again, I'm fine with that. Tomorrow is unbooked, although we do need to go grocery shopping. Beyond that, however, the day is unstructured.
