So, we got some snow overnight, but not as much as expected. Still, most of the local school districts closed up shop for the day, which means my subbing assignment was cancelled. Oh well. I got the call early in the morning, before I would have gotten out of bed for the day, so I knew I could sleep in a bit, which I did.
I spent the late morning and early afternoon poking about online in a desultory fashion before heading outside to shovel. We got about two or three inches of wet, sticky snow, and it took a while to clear, but I got it done. Afterwards, I took a long nap, which I think I earned.
In the evening, I worked on updating my LiveJournal a bit, and then pan-fried some steaks and baked some potatoes for dinner. And now we're thinking of going to bed early. I have tomorrow off, and as usual I have great hopes to be useful, which will probably be dashed. Oh well. Maybe I can at least get up before noon.
