Up early for subbing today, and off to the middle school to our south where I was one of the sixth-grade science teachers. The science classes themselves were pretty good, but homeroom and study hall were loud and chaotic. This is par for the course. At least the students are just loud, not actively evil. That tends to happen in later grades.
I got to leave early because the regular teacher had planning periods at the end of the day. I drove home in the middle of a light snow storm that became heavier once I was back home. At home, I spent the usual time online and then took the expected nap. This is par for the course as well.
In the evening, I spent some time online updating my LiveJournal and then reheated some leftover French onion soup with lamb for dinner. It was very tasty and nice and warm for this cold and snowy evening. And now we're headed off to bed. I have another subbing assignment tomorrow morning, but I suspect it may be cancelled due to snow. Still, I need to get some sleep in case it isn't, so off to bed I go.
