Up late morning, and eventually off with queenmomcat for her fifth surgery in two years. At least this time it was reasonably voluntary: the operation was to reshape her left breast after two lumpectomies and reduce the right so that she's more balanced. Still, surgery is surgery, and not something to be taken lightly.
We checked in at the outpatient center around 12:30 PM, and we left about 5:30 PM. The surgery itself went well, and queenmomcat was feeling relatively okay afterwards. During the procedure, I read some more of The Road to Little Dribbling and paced around a lot, as expected.
Back home, I got queenmomcat comfortably settled and the started some laundry. I also spent some time online before going out to get gyros for dinner at queenmomcat's request. Otherwise, it's been a quiet evening, and we'll probably go to bed early tonight. Tomorrow morning, we go to see the surgeon to have queenmomcat's bandages changed, and then I have to work at the book store. Hopefully, queenmomcat will be okay while I'm out.
