Up early for subbing again, this time in the high school to our north. I was there to cover for various teachers who had IEP (Individualized Education Plan -- the special ed accommodation plans) meetings, and it was a very easy day. I covered two meetings, had about an hour in between in which I started reading Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (another YA fantasy novel for work), and was out and back home by about 10:00 AM.
As usual, I spent some time online in the late morning and early afternoon, and as usual as well, I took a nice nap. After my nap, I had lunch and worked a little bit on updating my LiveJournal, until it was time to walk in to work. Tonight and tomorrow night, after the book store is closed, the employees are coming in to put up Christmas decorations and generally tidy up the place. I spent a considerable amount of time gong through a couple of sections that contain a lot of series, looking for books that we needed to fill in to make complete sets (a job that seems designed with my OCD in mind).
We all worked until a little after 9:00 PM, and one of my coworkers gave me a ride home. Back home, queenmomcat had a pot roast for dinner, which she had prepared earlier in the day in the slow cooker. Since then, it's been a quiet evening, and we'll be going to bed late tonight, which is fine, as I have no subbing assignments scheduled for tomorrow. At least not yet.
