Up mid-morning, well after everybody else, of course. My dad took queenmomcat to the YMCA in Burlington so she could swim, leaving me home with my mom and the dogs. I chatted with my mom for a while, and we went out and walked two of the dogs (Robbie and Abby -- my dad walked Toby earlier in the day). I also finished reading Lafayette in the Somewhat United States (25/6,004). I even lay down for a nap, but it didn't take, and by that time everybody was back from their morning activities, so I was more social.
The afternoon and evening were pleasantly quiet. I've been spending time reading back issues of The New Yorker and trying to decide what book to read next. I could be virtuous and read another book for work, or I could read something for fun. I'm leaning towards the latter. I'm also leaning towards an early bedtime, as I'm finding myself starting to drowse off. Tomorrow, I have to be up early anyways for a road trip, so maybe I should go to sleep now.
