I spent a good bit of last night coughing up phlegm, and my nose was too congested for me to use my CPAP, so I didn't get much good sleep. Still, I managed to get up mid-morning instead of late, and I had a somewhat productive day. And I'm actually feeling somewhat better this evening, which is a good sign.
Shortly after waking up, I headed out of the house to have some blood drawn for my annual physical, which is Monday. I got lucky: there was no one waiting at the phlebotomist's office when I got there, but by the time I left there were six or seven people in line. Back home, I had some breakfast and spent some time online, including balancing the checkbook. I also started some laundry and paid some bills. Busy busy busy.
Mid-afternoon, I took queenmomcat in for the last of her scheduled radiation treatments. While waiting, I read more of Curiosity House: The Shrunken Head, which I am close to finishing. Afterwards, I spent some more time online, mainly updating my LiveJournal. I then lay down for a much-needed nap.
In the evening, I baked some salmon and steamed some home-grown chard for dinner, which went down a treat. And now it's looking like we'll be going to bed late. As I mentioned above, I am feeling a little better than I did this time last night, so I don't mind waiting up. I work at the book store the next two days, and then I have a week of stuff that doesn't involve taking queenmomcat in to be irradiated, which is a welcome development.
