My subbing assignment today was to take over some upper-level math classes at the high school to our north. It was only a half day, and it was a very easy one at that. Basically, the students were self-directing, and I only needed to be there to take attendance and pass out worksheets. This is just as well, as I took a look at the worksheets I handed out and realized that I've forgotten all the calculus I ever knew.
Back home, as usual, I spent some time online and took a brief nap. After that, I went out and mowed the lawn. Our lawn is not happy at the moment: it looks kind of yellowish and large patches of it hadn't grown enough to warrant mowing. We'll see if it recovers as Spring continues. I also read a lot more of Where They Found Her, which is unusual: I tend to get most of my reading done during planning hours at subbing assignments or slow periods at work, not at home. Oh well. I eventually hit a point at which I could read no more, so I stopped, but I should be able to finish the book tomorrow.
In the evening, queenmomcat and I went out for our weekly dinner date, which was a nice end to a productive day. And now I'm thinking of going to bed. I have to be up early to open the book store tomorrow.
