|||||Ludwig van Beethoven, Symphony No. 7||]|
Up very late today (after noon), and it was kind of a wasted day. The weather didn't help: gray, cloudy, and rainy, with some spots of light hail to liven things up. It was just a blah kind of day, and I wasn't able to work up the energy to do anything productive.
Instead, I filled the five-disc CD player with Beethoven symphonies and spent the afternoon surfing about online. And despite getting up so late, I took an afternoon/early-evening nap. It really was that sort of day.
About the most productive thing I did today was to make a nice beef stir-fry for dinner. Still, I refuse to feel guilty about it. I think I needed a day like today to just completely decompress from last week. I know, looking back, that it seems I didn't do much last week, but I felt the need to unplug my brain today nonetheless. Tomorrow starts another week, and maybe I'll be able to be productive then.
