Up early this morning to open the book store, where I pulled my second solo Sunday shift in a row. It was slower today than it was last Sunday, but not disastrously so. Still, I had lots of time to read, and I finally finished Will Starling (9/2,368), which turned out to be a lot grimmer at the end than at the beginning, but enjoyably so. I walked in to work in the morning, but I had to call queenmomcat for a ride home at the end of the day. As usual.
I spent the usual amount of time online when I got home, and today I did take a nap afterwards. It's been a pretty quiet day since, and I think next week will be a pretty quiet week. The local schools are doing exams this week and then will be going on spring break, so I don't anticipate getting any subbing assignments in the near future. That will give me time to do things like prepare the tax forms, read, and maybe even write some more. I'm having a kinda productive year so far where poetry is concerned, and it would be nice to continue that.
