Up bright and early for subbing this morning. Today I took the place of the eighth-grade special education interventionist in the middle school to our south. It was a pretty easy day. Most of the classes I had to deal with were team-taught, and for the two classes I had on my own, the regular teacher was actually in the room most of the time, just working on other projects. I read some more of Bone Map during my break period.
The only down side of the day is that it snowed most of the morning and a bit into the afternoon. It took some time to brush off my car after I got out for the day, and the drive home wasn't entirely pleasant. Still, we didn't get as much snow at home as they did in the community to our south -- that's lake effect bands for you -- and I was able to get in the driveway and park my car in the garage without too much trouble.
Back home, I spent the usual amount of time on the computer, only pausing when the mail came. As it happens, we got a nice letter today which indicates that much of my mental health costs are now being covered by my insurance company. Thanks Obamacare! Anyways, after getting that good new, I went to bed for a nap and ended up just crashing for the evening. I had something to eat before I took my nap, and that ended up being dinner for the day (queenmomcat had leftovers for her dinner). I got up briefly to take my evening medications, but basically I slept most of the late afternoon and evening away. I guess I was running a sleep deficit. I have subbing again tomorrow, so I guess I'm off to bed again as soon as I can make it.
