It figures that, the first day I have off in over a week, I would have to get up early anyways. Why I agreed to an 8:15 AM appointment with the nutritionist is beyond me. Oh well. It was a productive and educational meeting, although I had already heard of the information before (mainly from queenmomcat). At least the nutritionist provided me with specific numbers to aim for. So, from here on in, I'll be counting carbs. Perhaps eventually calories as well, but one thing at a time.

I was feeling very tired when we got back home, so I went back to bed for a few hours. I got up again in the early afternoon, although I was still feeling sleepy. I started some laundry and then sat down to update my LiveJournal, which was more than a week out of date. To be fair, it was a very busy week. After the laundry finished, I too another nap. It was that sort of day.

In the evening, I balanced the checkbook and then prepared baked salmon with rice and peas. Since dinner, I've just been unwinding in front of the computer. I wish I could report a more productive day off, but I consider myself ahead of the game for merely getting out of bed this morning. Left to my druthers, I would have probably slept until noon. Anyways, it's back to the book store tomorrow through Friday, then I have a whole weekend off. I don't know what I'll do with myself.

I'll try not to nag, since, as you and the nutritionist both pointed out...it doesn't work. At all.

Re: Sorry.

I didn't mean that you'd been nagging. More that you've been providing me with sensible nutrition advice for years, and I've just been too stubborn to listen.
