Up early for me this morning, and off into Burlington with my dad and queenmomcat. queenmomcat went off to the YMCA for a swim, while my dad and I headed off to the local L. L. Bean outlet to replace the coat I lost on the way here. After buying me a nice, new lined canvas jacket, we went to the local independent book store, where of course I found several books I wanted to buy, including one for queenmomcat. So I bought them. Followed from there a quick stop at a coffee shop for coffee and chat, and then we picked up queenmomcat and headed back to my parents' house.
After lunch, queenmomcat and I set to packing, which was done relatively quickly. My dad then drove up to the airport, where we checked in and made it through security without any trouble. We even had enough time for queenmomcat to get a crepe from a place near our gate, so she had something in her stomach for the flight home. (She hadn't eaten much lunch, what with pre-travel nerves and all.)
In any case, our flights back home were uneventful, and we got back to our house in good time. The cats, of course, were happy to see us. I spent some time catching up online, which involved a call to out ISP to find out why me e-mail wasn't getting through. (It had been out all day.) They fixed that problem, but I lost a day's worth of e-mails, which I hope didn't contain anything important.
Soon, we'll be off to bed, nice and late as is usual for when we're at home. I have nothing planned for tomorrow expect assorted domestic tasks, so I can probably sleep in late. Hopefully, it'll be a productive day around the house.
